We exist so that the people of Chicago will be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ and live for Jesus as his disciples

Prayer
Partner with us to pray for Christ for Chicago.

Every Sunday we send you a Christ for Chicago prayer update email with things we are asking you to pray for that week.
We also send a weekly work of God update email to keep you posted on what God is doing through your prayers.

Even if you're not on our prayer update list, here are some things you can pray for.
Pray that:

“God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ” and “that [we] may make it clear, which is how [we] ought to speak” (Colossians 4.3,4).
“the word of the Lord [that is, the gospel] may speed ahead and be honored [in Portage Park]…and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil [people]. For not all have faith” (2 Thessalonians 3.1,2).
God will bring an Epaenetus. Epaenetus was Paul’s first convert in Asia, whom Paul called “beloved” (Romans 16.5). So also we anticipate being glad when Epaenetus is converted, whoever he or she may be.
